I’ve been a dedicated Grand Theft Auto fan since Grand Theft Auto 2, and have tried every single Grand Theft Auto game ever to be released; heck I haven’t missed a single game ever released by Rockstar (but that’s a different story). As far as Grand Theft Auto goes, I tried the lot. Ports, expansions, spin-offs, I played them all and I love each and every one of them equally…. and as of last year my newfound love was announced to be on the way!
Back in October, Rockstar made the announcement that the fifth major Grand Theft Auto game a la GTAV is in development, and even released an online trailer of the game to sate my growing hunger for another one. I watched the trailer, and let me tell you that this one is going to rock and mostly because they’re going to be basing it on the city of Los Santos (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) but on a much larger scale. Now if I recall correctly (as I’m sure most of you do) San Andreas was HUGE, you could spend hours driving around causing all sorts of vehicular mayhem, and that was back in the days of PS2. Imagine what it’s going to be like on Sony’s next-gen PlayStation 3 console? Or Microsoft’s Xbox 360? With a spin-off on the PS Vita even? I can’t even begin to stress the anticipation I’m in; finally something ‘New to PS3′ that is worth the wait. I have no doubt in my mind that GTA V will be one of the top ps3 games of all time by the time PS3 makes its ‘exit stage right’ for the PS4.
By now you should all be as excited as me. Heck if I were you I’d go out there right now and do the following: walk in store, buy PS3, sit home, and pray that the coming days will pass by quickly and painlessly.

Check out the trailer, and some of the screenshots that were recently posted on the game. There is no official release date, but chances are it’s going to be Q4 2012 (October?). Looking forward to this…

Me too…I’m a GTA VC and SA fan…although i still have that 3% of the game that i just CAN’T finish in SA.
Is there going to be a PC version of this?
I can definitely relate. I always had difficulty achieving 100% completion especially in SA! The map didn’t encourage me to go through with it. I really hope V takes the same route as IV (huge but manageable map). There hasn’t been any word on a PC version of GTAV but as GTA history has proven before, a PC port normally follows after the release of the console versions (course consoles haven’t gotten an official release date yet so we’ll have to wait and see).
LOL, I guess I’ll have to wait and see as you said
.
Thanks, it’s great to know that I’m not the only gamer not to complete SA 100%. Of course no cheating as well
Of course… Well maybe just the Tank hack
.
ROFLMAO….do the firefighting, police, and ambulance missions each, load up with heavy duty guns, get 100% flight training, and zoom in with the Cesna onto area 51 trying your best to elude the missiles sent towards you….and viola….your own tank….goto your airfield, put it into the garage, run as fast as u can to the safe house and save.
If you finished the airstrip missions…u get your own fighter-plane to spawn every now and then in one of the hangars.
I wasted 3 months playing this game
, and still do every now and then
